2017 Chrysler 300 Review
At Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram 24, we know what our Brockton, Randolph, and Stoughton customers truly want: style, power, and luxury. Honestly, who wouldn’t?
Naturally, when you start shopping for your next car, you’re going to keep an eye out for these three things. However, you won’t have to look for long if you turn your attention to the versatile 2017 Chrysler 300.
Chrysler 300 Interior
The 2017 Chrysler 300 is a midsize sedan, so it’s going to come with a bit of extra space. Passengers will have a total 106.3 cubic feet to stretch out in, with 38.6 inches of headroom and 41.8 inches of legroom for drivers.
Space is only the beginning. Styling will be at an all-time high in the 300 with 13 different styles to choose from. No matter what, though, each model will come with comfortable leather trim and heated eight-way powered front seats.
Tons of technology will be available to you, starting with the expansive Uconnect® 8.4 entertainment suite. This includes an 8.4-inch touchscreen and media hub with wireless charging port. For added functionality, add the navigational suite with traffic reports.
Chrysler 300: Performance Specs
In a luxurious sedan such as this, there’s no way that a rinky-dink four-cylinder engine is going to cut it. Instead, the 300 comes equipped with the 3.6L Pentastar® six-cylinder. This brawny engine is capable of generating 292 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
Nevertheless, it’s also equipped with a streamlined eight-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to this, the 300 is able to maintain 30 MPG highway.1 That way, you never have to sacrifice economy for speed!
However, the drivetrain may just be the pièce de résistance. The standard all-wheel drivetrain combines axle disconnect, electronic stability control, and powertrain controls in real time, allowing you to maintain superb handling even on hazardous road surfaces.
Taking Your Protection to the Next Level
Piggybacking off that precise drivetrain, your Chrysler 300 comes with a multitude of additional safety features. To start, you’ll be supported by an incredibly rigid frame reinforced with side impact beams and advanced occupancy-sensing airbags.
From there, several intuitive technologies are available. Take full-speed forward collision warning with active braking, for example. This feature uses sensors to monitor the cars ahead of you. If a frontend collision is imminent, your car will brake autonomously.
Next, your Uconnect® suite will come with and emergency SOS call. In the event that you’re in an accident, or simply broken down on the side of the side of the road, you can use this feature to call for emergency assistance.
2017 Chrysler: 300 Review it in Person
Really, we could gush about the 2017 Chrysler 300 all day long. Still, for Brockton, Randolph, and Stoughton drivers to fully understand what this sedan can do, they’re going to have to experience it for themselves.
