Leaves are falling and there’s a chill in the air, which means Bridgewater’s 28th Annual Autumn-Fest is just around the corner.Slated for Saturday, September 24, 2016, from 10-4 p.m., Bridgewater’s Autumn-Fest is a longstanding community tradition that attracts more than 5,000 people each year. This year’s festival features tons of great food, musical performances and family-friendly attractions, and the guide we’ve posted below provides the complete lowdown on this year’s event. 28th Annual Autumn-Fest in Bridgewater

This year’s Autumn-Fest will take place rain or shine on Bridgewater State University’s campus on the quad in front of Boyden Hall. It is one of the town’s most highly anticipated events each year and features more than 100 vendors where you can sample products and services, food from local restaurants and more.Admission is free for the 28th Annual Autumn-Fest, but some events do require a fee to participate. The money raised goes toward the Bridgewater Business Association Assistance Fund, which supports local families throughout the year.

Bridgewater Autumn-Fest Live Performances

Autumn-Fest is known for showcasing a diverse lineup of performers, and this year is no different. With demonstrations from Felix and the Jazz Cats, Four in a Row, Stardust Gym, John Balutis, the Bridgewater police K-9 police dogs, marching bands, martial artists, and performing arts and dance studios scheduled, you can expect hours of entertainment at the Bridgewater Autumn-Fest.If you’re a music fan, you won’t want to miss the BRRHS Band and Middle School Band and Chorus. They’re always a crowd pleaser, and we can’t wait to hear them play during this year’s set. They can also get their faces painted, hop around on a moon bounce from Grant’s Rental, take a train ride or play in the Barn Babies Travelling Petting Zoo.While you’re at the festival, keep an eye out for Poppee the Clown and stop by the demonstration at Joe’s Crazzy Critters. There are tons of great attractions to entertain your kids at Autumn-Fest, so make sure to stop by for a fun-filled day they’ll never forget.
