Guide to Festival at the Farm
This September 16th and 17th, there’s nowhere else you’ll want to be other than at Prowse Farm in Canton, MA, checking out the Festival at the Farm. Celebrate the last days of warm summer sun with a large dose of live music, delicious food, and fun activities down at the farm. There’s tons to do, and you won’t want to miss a single thing, so we’ve created this helpful guide the Festival at the Farm to help you plan out your visit.
More than 15 bands are scheduled to perform during the course of the weekend, one after the other, so there will be a constant concert all weekend long. Sets begin and 1:15 p.m. with a kids performance by Josh and the Jamstones, followed by a variety of bands all day long until 10:30 p.m. There will be tons of space to dance and relax, so you can enjoy the music any way you like.
The Kids Zone will be absolutely packed with fun shows and activities for the little ones to enjoy, including storytelling, magic shows, animal shows, a pop-up children’s bookstore, family-friendly yoga, and more!
All weekend long, enjoy fun backyard games, such as cornhole and giant Jenga. Challenge your friends to a battle of skills!
Food & Farmers
Learn how to make delicious, healthy meals at the festival’s culinary workshops, and you’ll get tips and insights from some of the best local chefs. A huge variety of local food vendors will be on hand to serve up delicious food while you celebrate. Visit the Farmer’s Market to meet local farmers and makers and sample or purchase their goodies. Head to the Marketplace to support talented local artists, offering a variety of handmade items and interesting goods.
