New Jeep Compass Trim Levels Overview
There are five different trim levels from which to choose on the new Jeep Compass. These are the base-level Sport, the midrange Latitude, the upscale Altitude, the luxury-minded Limited, and the off-road oriented Trailhawk. Let’s break each one down.
Jeep Compass Sport
As the base-level trim, the Wrangler Sport is the platform upon which all others are built. For the most part, every trim level above the Sport will have these features as well as adding their own. It starts with 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels. You’ll also get the Uconnect® infotainment interface powered by a 7-inch touchscreen. This comprehensive system comes with full Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® support, so you have access to all your phone’s apps, including its voice controls.
Finally, the ParkView® backup camera allows you to see anything that’s behind you through the Uconnect® touchscreen, and it includes dynamic on-screen guidelines to get you into tight parking spots.
Jeep Compass Latitude
At the Latitude trim level, you keep all the features from the Sport and add additional options. These include a next-gen infotainment system that includes available premium sound from BeatsAudio™, plus USB ports. You also net a 7-inch configurable driver information display in the dash.
The Latitude is equipped to tackle any weather conditions with the available Cold Weather Group package, which gives you things like heated steering wheel and seats, wiper de-icers, and remote start. If you go with a 4-wheel drive model, you’ll also get Selec-Terrain® traction management for tough road conditions.
Bigger, 18-inch wheels round out this trim level, giving you more traction on the road.
Jeep Compass Altitude
The Altitude level gives you a 2-tone gloss-black roof, which gives the Compass a premium, upscale look. It also features an available panoramic dual-pane sunroof. You’ll also get special gloss-black accents along the edges and fascia, and gloss-black finish on your wheels. The same gloss-black accents will apply to the interior, giving the whole trim a sleek look. Technology-wise, it’s equipped similarly to the Latitude.
Jeep Compass Limited
The Limited combines the options packages and visual features of the Latitude and Altitude, including the Cold Weather Group package features and gloss-black roof and accents, along with refined and luxurious touches. Here, you’ll get premium leather upholstery with 8-way power-adjust seats. The infotainment system sees another upgrade here, with an 8.4-inch touchscreen.
Jeep Compass Trailhawk
The famous Trailhawk trim is available here, and it provides best-in-class off-roading to fans of this vehicle. You’ll get special red tow hooks and outstanding off-roading and trailblazing, thanks to the Jeep Active Drive 4×4 low-range gearing. Skid plates protect your undercarriage, and the Selec-Terrain® feature lets you crawl over the toughest ground. This level also gives you the 8.4-inch Uconnect® touchscreen.
