Jeep Grand Cherokee 4×2 Vehicles
The following trim levels come standard in rear-wheel drive. However, they’re also available in 4-wheel drive to handle any type of road.
2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo
Starting off the Jeep Grand Cherokee lineup is the Laredo trim. Though it’s the base, it provides tons of features and impressive capabilities.
It comes with a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine that delivers 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Plus, it can tow 3,500 pounds for a couple jet skis or a small fishing boat.
Inside the Laredo, you’ll have plenty of room for five, with 105.4 cubic feet of passenger volume. Plus, with a maximum cargo space of 68.3 cubic feet, you’ll have more than enough room for grocery bags, camping gear, and anything else you need to pack inside.
Grand Cherokee Laredo E
Next up is the Laredo E, which offers the same engine as the base trim. However, the towing capacity gets an upgrade, at 6,200 pounds. This means you could hitch along a speed boat or full camper for your next family vacation.
This trim gives you the same cargo and passenger dimensions—ensuring that everyone feels comfortable inside. However, unlike the base, the Laredo E provides an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. As a result, you can quickly get into your ideal position behind the wheel.
2019 Grand Cherokee Upland
With the Jeep Grand Cherokee Upland, you’ll get to enjoy heated front seats for those especially chilly nights. You’ll have a heated steering wheel, too, so you can keep your hands warm or soothe them after a long day at work.
Like the previously mentioned trim levels, the Upland comes with a Uconnect® 4 infotainment system. All your media options are housed here, such as Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. By pairing the phone to the vehicle, your favorite apps will appear on the 7-inch touchscreen—giving you quicker access to them while driving.
Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude
When you get to the Grand Cherokee Altitude trim, the cabin’s appearance will change a bit. You now have black leather seats with a suede insert—adding a bit of refinement to the SUV’s interior.
You also get the Uconnect® 4C NAV infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display. Also included in this trim are SiriusXM® Traffic Plus and Travel Link. The navigation system will show you how to get from Point A to Point B, while the SiriusXM® features will help you get to your destination in no time at all.
Grand Cherokee Limited
With the 2019 Grand Cherokee Limited, you have leather-trimmed bucket seats in colors like Black or Black/Light Frost Beige.
Then, like the Altitude, the Limited comes with a 1-year subscription to SiriusXM Guardian™ with SOS Call and Roadside Assistance Call. If you get into an accident or are stranded on the side of the road, you can have peace of mind knowing that help can arrive at a moment’s notice.
2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X
Then there’s the Limited X, which includes everything found in the Limited trim, and then some. For example, the outside will give you design elements like:
- 20-inch low-gloss granite crystal metallic wheels
- Dual black chrome exhaust tips
- Unique “Limited X” badging
Inside, you’ll have heritage-inspired leather-trimmed seats. That, combined with Black Rose Grain hydrographics with Liquid Titanium and Piano Black interior accents, project a cool vibe with the Grand Cherokee.
2019 Grand Cherokee Overland
Next on the trim level lineup is the Grand Cherokee Overland. Like the previously mentioned trim, this one comes with an auto-dimming rearview mirror. It’ll react to ambient light conditions by changing the tint of the mirror. This is especially useful at night, so you don’t get a glare from the headlights of the vehicle behind you.
However, unlike the other trim, this one comes with a 9-speaker sound system with subwoofer. There’s also a 506-watt amplifier, which will increase the power of the signal to the speaker and subwoofer, giving you an intense listening experience.
Grand Cherokee High Altitude
As it is with every trim level we’ve talked about, the High Altitude one is quite fuel-efficient. It achieves an EPA-estimated 19 city/26 highway MPG, so you can go on all kinds of adventures before you run out of gas.
In addition, there are lots of safety options tacked onto this trim, such as Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop. It helps you maintain a safe distance from the car in front of you. If traffic starts to slow down, the system will slow your vehicle down as well, to keep that pre-set distance.
Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit
The final trim level for the 4×2 circuit is the 2019 Grand Cherokee Summit. It comes with LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning Plus, which helps you stay in your lane.
Another useful safety feature is Parallel and Perpendicular Park-Assist. Once it finds a good parking spot, it’ll send visual and audible instructions. You simply need to control the gear position, brake, and accelerator while the system will do the steering for you. As a result, you’ll be able to park anywhere like a pro!
Jeep Grand Cherokee 4×4 Vehicles
Unlike the previously mentioned trim levels for the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the following ones are only available in 4-wheel drive.
Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk
The Trailhawk comes standard with the previously mentioned 3.6L Pentastar® V6. However, it’s available with a 5.7L HEMI® V8 that churns out 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. Plus, it can tow up to 7,200 pounds when equipped with a Class IV hitch receiver and a 7- and 4-pin wiring harness.
Not only is this vehicle powerful and strong, but it’s also capable of some fun off-roading excursions.
That’s because it comes with a Quadra-Lift Air Suspension, so you can drive over bumpy terrain without damaging the underside of your automobile. It also comes with a Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System, which helps enhance handling and maintain traction on any type of road.
Grand Cherokee SRT
The SRT is unique because it’s the only trim level to come with a 6.4L HEMI® V8. This engine produces 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, which is plenty of muscle for any driving situation.
Inside this vehicle, you’ll find leather with perforated SRT suede seats. The seats up front are ventilated, so that you can stay cool on the hottest summer days. Then, the seats in the back are heated—allowing everyone on board to stay cozy when needed.
You’ll also find unique design elements inside this trim, such as aluminum pedals and a Nappa leather, non-Laguna door trim. As a result, you’ll always find something nice to look at when you step inside the Grand Cherokee SRT.
Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk
The very last trim level we’ll cover is the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. With this trim, you get a supercharged 6.2L V8 that delivers an impressive 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque.
Additionally, this trim comes with a Selec-Trac® system. It has five modes to choose from, including:
Each one will personalize the vehicle’s on- and off-roading capabilities under a wide variety of road and weather conditions. That mixed with the Quadra-Trac® Active On-demand 4WD System gives you free reign to travel on any terrain.
