40,000 Miles

Reaching the 40,000-mile mark will also require an inspection of your front suspension and tire rod ends. Here, too, you should inspect and, if necessary, replace the brake lining.

The 40,000 mark is also where you should inspect the CV/Universal joints.

60,000 miles

When your Ram 1500 reaches 60,000 miles, it will be time to have the front and rear axel surfaces inspected. If gear oil leakage is suspected, check the fluid levels during this time, too.

100,000 Miles

• Replace spark plugs
• Flush and replace the engine coolant
• Inspect the PCV valve, replacing if necessary

120,000 Miles

Reaching 120,000 miles is a big achievement! It is also an interval that comes with services included in earlier intervals, including the inspection of CV/Universal joints. Additional services required are as follows:

• Inspection of the tie rod and front suspension, replacing if needed
• Inspecting the brake lining, replacing it if necessary
